Bio

Kady advises technology and gaming companies on privacy and compliance matters, with a focus on helping companies navigate complex regulatory and legal landscapes.

In the gaming space, Kady advises startups and established operators on new skill-based offerings across Sports Wagering, iGaming, and DFS, and provides strategic guidance on state-by-state regulatory requirements and obligations such as contest official rules, privacy policies andterms of service. Her work emphasizes practical risk assessment and mitigation to support compliant operations under state and federal gaming laws.

Kady’s privacy practice includes represents clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions before state attorneys general and federal regulators, including the Federal Trade Commission. She counsels companies on data privacy and security, e-commerce and advertising, product development, and regulatory compliance, and regularly drafts and negotiates business-critical agreements such as data security and processing agreements, trial services agreements, and vendor contracts. Additionally, Kady is well-versed in domain and website disputes include takedowns, squatting issues under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.

Kady received her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law where she graduated early while in WCL’s evening program and working full time. After earning her B.A. in Political Science, Public Administration, and International Relations from California State University, Chico, she earned her M.A. in International Law and Economics from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies.

Outside of work, Kady is a passionate volunteer with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. To date, she has fostered over 65 pups and has personally found forever homes for over 680+ dogs and puppies.
