ZwillGen is hiring Summer Legal Interns for summer 2020 and is looking for energetic candidates to apply.
ZwillGen is a leading boutique law firm specializing in the intersection of law and technology and serving the biggest names in technology. This opportunity will give law students exposure to cutting edge privacy, security, and surveillance issues and skilled attorneys who draw on prior experiences across BigLaw, the government, and companies of various sizes.
Our ideal candidates are current 2Ls who can dedicate 6-11 weeks in summer 2020 prior to their 3L year (or 3L judicial clerks who want interesting pre-clerkship work). We are hiring for our office in Washington, DC. Summer Legal Interns will earn $1,400 per week.
A good sense of humor and a desire to work hard and have fun are a must. Summer Legal Interns will be expected to engage in legal research and writing, tracking evolving legal issues, blogging, assisting with the development of precedential firm materials, and generally helping out around the firm. Projects may range across a variety of areas, including privacy counseling, regulatory compliance, data security, data breach notification, and litigation-related research and writing, as well as specialized areas like internet gaming, Ad Tech, and surveillance.
Interested candidates should submit the following to firstname.lastname@example.org: (1) cover letter explaining the candidate’s interests in ZwillGen and technology, privacy, security, and/or surveillance; (2) resume; (3) law school transcript; (4) professional references; and (5) a writing sample.
The deadline to submit applications is Friday, October 25, 2019. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered at our discretion.
Please note that ZwillGen does not plan to make offers for permanent employment to its Summer Legal Interns. ZwillGen offers a 1-year Fellowship Program for recent law school graduates that Summer Legal Interns may subsequently apply for.
